Six Oh Eight Food Truck Festival was a Success

Food & Fun Had By All

September 22 2022

Water Street was the spot to be earlier this month as crowd-goers descended on the historic road for the Six-Oh-Ate Food Truck Festival, hosted by Advance Shullsburg.  "Our first annual Six-Oh-Ate Food Truck Festival was greatly successful," notes Advance Shullburg coordinator Cassidy Reilly.  "The event featured 9 food trucks and brought people from all over the area to Shullsburg."

During the event, attendees were also able to patronize the shops along the street, including our very own Cheese Store, where shoppers received a free Dessert Ball with every purchase.

"This year surpassed our expectations and we can't wait to see what the future holds for the event," says Reilly.  We at Shullsburg Creamery and the Cheese Store would like to thank those who stopped by and we will see you next year!

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

I purchased three kinds of your cheeses and I fell in love. They're just right - Blueberry , Cranberry and my new favorite, Cheddar with Hot Peppers. They have the right balance of pop. So glad I tried your product! I will be hoping you stay at my store!

Meet Rosey, the 2025 Cheesefest Carving

It was one beautiful day at this year's Cheesefest, taking place in historic downtown Water Street earlier this month.  And one of the event's favorite attractions is always the sculpted Cheddar cow.  Shullsburg Creamery proudly donates a 40-pound block of Cheddar each year to sculptor Vicki Janisch, who then does her magic.  We caught up with Vicki to understand the inspiration behind this year's cow!
